Practical guidance for staying safe on Onne — online, in chat, and when meeting matches in person.

Last updated: June 21, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Your safety is important to us. Onne provides tools to report, block, and control who can contact you. No online platform can guarantee the conduct of every user — please use good judgment, especially when moving conversations offline.

2. Online Safety

Protect your account and personal information while using Onne.

  • Never share passwords, verification codes, or financial details in chat.
  • Be cautious of users who quickly ask to move to another platform, request money, or share suspicious links.
  • Use block and report immediately if someone makes you uncomfortable.
  • Remember that compatibility scores and astrological insights do not verify identity or character.

3. Meeting in Person

If you choose to meet someone from Onne, take steps to reduce risk — similar to meeting anyone you connected with online.

  • Meet in a public place for the first few meetings and tell a friend where you are going.
  • Arrange your own transportation and keep your phone charged.
  • Stay sober enough to make your own decisions and leave if you feel unsafe.
  • Do not share your home address until you trust someone and have met safely multiple times.
  • Trust your instincts — it is always okay to leave or cancel.

5. Report & Block

Use in-app block to prevent a user from contacting you. Use report to flag harassment, scams, fake profiles, underage users, or threats.

For emergencies or immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then report the user to Onne at hello@onne.ai with any relevant details.

6. Underage Users

Onne is for adults 18 and older. If you believe a user is under 18, report the profile immediately. We will investigate and remove underage accounts consistent with our Privacy Policy and COPPA obligations.

7. Resources

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence or abuse, consider contacting local support services or national hotlines available in your country.

In the United States, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available at thehotline.org or by calling 1-800-799-7233. Similar services exist in other regions.

8. Law Enforcement Requests

We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement related to user safety. Legal process may be sent to hello@onne.ai.
